About the project
Realtime rendering of a virtual sea in low poly. Both 3D sea and audio are generated in real-time and rendered through syphon. The movement of the waves is audio reactive. The sound synthesis is made of noise, lowpass filtering and various lfo’s combined. The waves are made with jit.gl.mesh, jit.gen and jit.bfg for offsetting the height. It has a blur effect on the top and bottom of the screen which is processed on the gpu. The rendering engine has a few extra screen settings for rendering in widescreen possibilities.
